American State Bank & Trust Company’s free* Mobile Web Banking allows you secure access to our mobile-optimized online banking Web site for your phone’s Web browser.  You can bank whenever you want and whenever you need.

Mobile Web Enrollment:  (if you self enrolled using the App, you can skip all but the last step)

  • Log into NetConnect with your NetConnect ID and Password
  • Select Options>Mobile Settings
  • Select Web Mobile Settings
  • Enable your mobile device

Mobile Text Banking

Now you can keep even closer tabs on your bank account with free* Mobile Text Banking.  Using your mobile device, you can check account balances and view transaction history while you’re on the go.

Mobile Text Enrollment:

  • Log in to NetConnect with your NetConnect ID and Password
  • Select Options>Mobile Settings
  • Select Text Mobile Settings
  • Enable text access for your mobile device
  • Accept terms and conditions
  • Enter mobile number*
  • Select your wireless provider (mobile provider)**
  • Select account number(s)
  • Create short name(s)
  • To complete enrollment changes, you must reply “Yes” to the text message sent to your mobile device
  • Text American State Bank & Trust Company’s short code ‘ 89549 ’ with text commands to receive your banking information

Mobile Text Banking Commands:

  • Bal = All acct balances for all enrolled accounts
  • Bal Mobile Short Name  = Single acct balance
  • Hist = All accts recent activity
  • Hist Mobile Short Name  = Returns last 4 transactions for specified account
  • Help = Returns command references
  • Stop = Disables enrollment for text mobile banking

How do I sign on to ASBT Mobile Banking? 
Enter the same User ID and Password you use to access NetConnect Online Banking.

Not enrolled in NetConnect online banking? 
To use ASBT Mobile Banking you must have an active NetConnect Online Banking account.  A NetConnect account may be opened at any American State Bank & Trust Company location by visiting with a Customer Service Representative or you may apply online at www.asbt.com.

Is there a fee for ASBT Mobile Banking? 
There is no fee for ASBT Mobile Banking.  There may be additional data costs related to accessing the ASBT Mobile Banking app from your mobile device.  Please check with your wireless plan or verify with your wireless carrier.

How do I download the American State Bank & Trust Company Mobile Banking app? 
An American State Bank & Trust Company app is available for iPhone®, iPad® and Android.  Visit the iTunes Store or Google Play Store online and search for ASBT Mobile Banking.

What accounts are available in mobile banking? 
You can view account balances for the account that are currently available to you through traditional NetConnect.

How current is the information I see on the Mobile Banking screens? 
The current balance is real time based on transactions completed throughout the day; this may also include cash deposits/withdrawals at the branch, ATM withdrawals, debit card purchases,telephone and online transfers.

How safe is Mobile Banking? 
Customers are required to log into ASBT Mobile Banking with the same User ID and Password combination as NetConnect Online Banking. Please refer to our Security Page for more steps you should take to ensure the security of your information and protect your privacy when you use your mobile device.

What happens if I lose my smartphone? 
If your phone is lost or stolen, you should contact American State Bank & Trust Company as soon as possible by calling 1-800-486-8173 or 701-774-4100.

Is Bill Pay available with ASBT Mobile Banking? 
Bill Payment payees must be initially set up through traditional NetConnect.  Once you have set up Bill Payment and created your payees, you may access it and make payments through your mobile device. When adding a new payee, you have to create them through traditional NetConnect.

Can I transfer funds between accounts?
You can transfer from any eligible checking, money market, savings account you have linked to your profile.  You can transfer money to any eligible checking, money market, savings, and loan accounts.  In cases where account types are IRAs or other restricted products, transfers may not be permitted.

How late in the evening can I make a transfer for the funds to be processed same day? 
The cutoff time is 6:00 CST for a transfer to be considered on the current business day.
